KTC, the World’s No. 1 Testing Certification Institute Leading the Way to the 4th Industrial Revolution
○ On October 1, Korea Testing Certification institute (KTC, President Daeshik Jeh) introduced the ESG Management promotion strategies at the Gunpo headquarters for the first time ever among domestic testing certification institutes, vowing the action will.
○ The ESG Management promotion strategies are comprised of 18 strategies in three pillars: environmental management (Environment, E) to create green and digital testing certification ecosystem, human-centered win-win management (Social, S), and ethical management (Governance, G) to strengthen the fairness of management.
○ ESG Management is highly needed and meaningful since testing certification is an area ensuring the safety of people and requiring public and social responsibilities, contributing to new product development and export of businesses.
○ KTC said that it has prepared medium and long-term initiatives for approximately 3 months since its organization of the ‘ESG Management Promotion Bureau’, the first ever domestic testing certification institute, exclusively responsible for ESG Management, in July this year.
○ At the proclamation ceremony, two staff representatives recited the ESG Management declaration expressing the pledge of employees and executives, and the Vine Orchestra consisting of developmentally disabled youth and the visually impaired performed with the KTC Band, and delivered a donation, meditating on the role of mutual growth management (Social, S) with the community.
○ President Daeshik Jeh said “KTC would grow up with companies in people’s confidence through ESG Management, the demand of the age”, and “KTC’s proactive action would give a lift to the spread of ESG Management in the field of testing certification.”
