The Korean Testing Certification Institute (KTC) will participate in the "2026 International Sleep Healing Exhibition" held at COEX from July 30 to Aug 1.
Hosted by the Korea Sleep Industry Association, this event is a specialized domestic sleep-tech exhibition. This year, it will be held under the themes of sleep health, healing tourism, and wellness, with about 60 companies and more than 150 booths participating.
KTC is establishing a customized technical support system for sleep industry companies, which includes objective sleep data collection and analysis based on polysomnography (PSG), performance verification for wearable and non-contact sleep sensors, and empirical evaluation of sleep environment improvement products such as mattresses, bedding, lighting, and air control, as well as usability and safety assessment.
Furthermore, KTC is promoting activities to secure technological reliability for domestic sleep industry companies, establish a foundation for business commercialization, and support overseas certification for exports through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s "AI-Based Sleep Tech International Cooperation Demonstration Support Project." At this exhibition, KTC plans to provide empirical evaluations and support the technical support needs of companies in sleep measurement devices, AI sleep analysis solutions, sleep environment products, and wellness service sectors.
Going forward, KTC will further advance empirical evaluation models by product type based on the demand identified at the exhibition, and will gradually expand verification of sleep data reliability using professional equipment such as PSG, comparative evaluation of AI sleep algorithms, efficacy confirmation of sleep environment improvement products, and usability evaluation.
In addition, KTC will enhance the competitiveness of domestic sleep companies and support their entry into global markets in cooperation with the Korea Sleep Industry Association, hospitals and research institutes, and overseas partner organizations.
