The system of the household chemicals that are subject to safety verification
- According to Item 3 under Article 3, Article 4, Article 8, Article 9, Items 1 and 2 under Article 10 of the Act on the Safe Management of the Household Chemicals and Biocides, a party that wishes to manufacture or import the household chemical products that are subject to safety verification need to have the compliance with the safety standards verified by a testing/inspection agency every three years and report the result to the Minister of Environment.
* The management authority of the potentially hazardous products (23 items including detergents) according to the Act on the Registration and Evaluation, etc., of Chemicals is now reassigned to the new law (from the Act on the Registration and Evaluation to the Act on the Safety Management.)

- ① copy of the confirmation request for the household chemicals subject to safety verification (Form 1) Link
- ② 1 copy of the photo of the product and a manual of the product (Form 2) Link
- ③ 1 copy of the ingredients of the products and their mixing ratio (Form 3) Link
- ④ 1 copy of the non-inclusion or non-use statement of chemicals (Form 4) Link
- Not necessary if there is a test request or a test report for a banned substance or a substance in use.
- ⑤ Documents that prove that the vessel has been tested and qualified in accordance with Article 17 of the High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act. (If applicable)
- ⑥ Documents that prove that the safety requirements for containers or packages related to the protection of children in accordance with Paragraph 3, Item 2 under Article 9 of the Act on the Safe Management of the Household Chemicals and Biocides are satisfied. (If applicable)
- ➆ Documentary evidence of the commissioning of the test, such as a copy of the test commissioning agreement (in the case of an OEM/ODM arrangement)
- ➇ A copy of the corporate registration certificate or the business registration certificate.
