Purpose
This service is provided to the clients who wish to have a test report issued by a certified testing agency regarding EMIs (unwanted interference by electromagnetic waves or EMS (the capability of a product to operate normally in an environment impacted by electromagnetic waves) in order to develop, manufacture, sell, or use electronic/electric products.
Preparations
- Sample product (finished)
- Test standard (KS, IEC, Act on Safe Management of Electrical Product, or custom standard offered by the clients)
- Purpose of testing(for internal analysis), for submission (specify the name of the company that submits the test report,) for delivery of goods (name the receiver of the report)
- Manual (technical specification, installation instructions, and how to use, etc.)
- Business registration certification
- EMC test fee

EMS test fee
- The fees indicated above are applicable to a sample of 20kg or less, single-phase.
- The fees may differ depending on the rated specifications, size, and weight, etc.
Calculation of the fees
- EMC test fee = 100,000won(base fee) + number of samples x sum of the test items fees
- However, the EMC test fee that is so calculated does not include the VAT.
