The Energy Efficiency Ratings Labeling Program is a program that makes it mandatory to attach Energy Efficiency rating labels indicating the energy efficiency levels for the products which consume more energy and are used more widely, while the program also prohibits the production and sales of the products which fail to meet the minimum efficiency requirements. This program is applicable to every single manufacturer. The Energy Efficiency Ratings Labeling requirements are applied to 15 items among home appliances, lighting equipment, and automobiles, while the minimum efficiency requirements are applicable to 14 items.
