8. Automatic power-saving control devices | An automatic standby power saving service outlets or power bar that can kill the standby power of the connected electronics by sensing the brightness level of the environment, on a timer, or by sensing the activation of other devices. However, parts, or other devices that are not easily mounted by the user are not included. |
9. Adapters | A DC power source (AC-DC) or AC-AC power source that is used to serve as the external power supply of a nameplate rated output of 150W with a single output voltage. These are mainly used as an external power source for a laptop, computer speaker, LCD monitor, printer, PDA, camcorder, digital camera, audio, DVD player, MP3 player, portable CD players, set-top box, or wired/wireless phones, etc. However, those that are not of a single output voltage, such as an adapter, DC-DC power source, or chargers, which allows the charging of an external power source, where the external power source has built-in charging function, are not included. |
10. Television | An electronic which is composed of a monitor, tuner, and receiver, where the rated wattage is no more than 1,000W. Normally, the monitor is a CRT, LCD, PDP, or other types of displays, while the machine also has the function to receive the TV broadcasting signals using an antenna, satellite, or cable to display such images. The TV is the main function, while its function can also be extended to serve as a monitor for a computer (as the product has a computer input port) while still being sold as a TV. They include TV monitors, component televisions, all-in-one video/TVs, all-in-one TV/DVDs, or all-in-one TV/video/DVDs. However, those that are classified as a TV receiver with special features such as the OCAP or IP are not included. |
11. Videotape recorders | An electronic product that can play the information stored in a video cassette or record the signal is received from an external source into such media, where the rated wattage is no more than 150W. They include the all-in-one DVD and videos. |
12. Audios | The electronics that record or play the audio band signals that are played through headphones, speakers, or voice signal converters (video signals are not included), where the rated wattage is no more than 1,000W.
