This is the inspection of the casino machines in accordance with the Tourism Promotion Act. The applicable items include slot machines, video game machines and electronic table game machines.
The types of casino machine inspections
New inspection (the initial inspection of the casino machines)
The initial inspection of all items that are to be tested regarding casino equipment in accordance with the Tourism Promotion Act, including but not limited to the appearance, structure, materials, operation, winning (reward) rates, and performance.
Renewal inspection (the inspection to renew the validity of the machine)
For the casino machine, which was an inspection for the first time more than three years ago, a renewal inspection shall be conducted in the same manner as with the initial inspection. (The renewal inspection must be conducted within 15 days before or after the expiry.)
Confirmatory inspection (the confirmatory inspection for when there is a need to open the seal or relocate the machine to a new business.)
This inspection is conducted when there is an order by the Minister of Culture or when there has been a repair work, change of structure, or replacement of a part that can impact the winning (reward) rates, such as the EPROM.

Test fees
- Casino machine (slot machines, video games and electronic table game only): 189,000 won per unit
- The confirmatory inspection for when there is a need to open the seal or relocate the machine to a new business: Base fee 100,000 won + 25,000 won per unit
