Safety Certification
According to Article 17 of the SPECIAL ACT ON THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN'S PRODUCTS, a manufacturer or importer of a children's product requiring safety certification is required to receive safety certification for each model by a safety certification body before shipping or customs clearance by this program (to demonstrate the safety of the children's product by the test of the product and an inspection of its production site.)
Children's products requiring safety certification
According to Item 2, Article 2 of the SPECIAL ACT ON THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN'S PRODUCTS, these products refer to the children's products with concerns of injuries or death of children or property damages due to their structures, materials, or the way they are used, as designated by a decree of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy.
