Halal Training Program

Background

To ensure the production and quality of halal products, companies are required to appoint a Halal Supervisor, who must complete mandatory training once in every certification cycle (3 years) to improve their competence and knowledge of the halal certification process and halal assurance system. Indonesian legislation requires companies to obtain a qualification from a specialised training institute designated by the Halal Assurance Agency (BPJPH), which is a prerequisite for obtaining halal certification. (Law No. 33 of Indonesia on Halal Product Assurance)

KTC provides training programmes for halal supervisors and halal management team. The courses are conducted in collaboration with IHATEC, a specialised training institution designated by the Indonesian Halal Certification Agency (BPJPH). KTC has been conducting various seminars on halal regulations in the country based on a MoU with IHATEC.
