KTC, the World’s No. 1 Testing Certification Institute Leading the Way to the 4th Industrial Revolution
Korea Testing Certification institute (KTC) is participating in the 'K-Display 2023,' South Korea's largest domestic display exhibition, held from August 16th to 18th at COEX in Seoul. This marks KTC's first participation in the event. During this exhibition, KTC will introduce "Next-generation Display Product Performance and Reliability Testing and Certification Support Services" aimed at institutions and participating companies in the display industry. Additionally, the organization will present strategies for acquiring international certifications to support overseas exports. Furthermore, KTC is actively engaged in the "Next-generation Display Product Performance and Reliability Testing and Certification Support Services" initiative, organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The organization plans to provide testing and certification services (such as NTSC, VESA, etc.) through the International Committee for Display Metrology (ICDM) at this exhibition. In conjunction with this, KTC aims to provide support for the convergence and diversification of industries by presenting its 13 major strategic areas related to the digital and green transformation of the industry. This effort is intended to assist Korean companies in taking a leading position in the market. The display industry is being propelled by emerging applications such as AR/VR, automotive and public displays (e.g., digital signage). The global display market is projected to expand from 157 trillion won in 2022 to 183 trillion won by 2027. President Sungil Ahn of KTC stated, "Building on our testing and evaluation capabilities, we will support the enhancement of materials and competitiveness for display-related companies, facilitate overseas exports, and further concentrate on fostering the ecosystem of the next-generation display industry to lead the international market." Meanwhile, the 22nd edition of 'K-Display 2023' features its largest scale yet, with 170 companies and 580 booths participating. It encompasses display panels, related materials, components, equipment, mobility solutions, and emerging industries such as AR/VR/XR.
