About the security function test program
The security function test program is a program in which a certified agency confirms the safety by Evaluation the product against the security requirements for the government. The tested products include information protection systems, network equipment, and other IT products, so that the 'security conformity verification' process can be streamlined.

The 'security function test program,' has been replaced by the security conformity tests in accordance with Article 56 of the Electronic Government Act.
The eligible products for issuance and criteria
- It can be issued for information protection systems and network equipment.
* Some products, such as 'virtual products' or 'mobile-based products,' are not eligible for issuance.
- The security function test report can be issued when all of the mandatory security requirements are met.
The effect of a security performance certificate
If the product meets the 'security requirement for government procurement,' two-year's validity is given. Otherwise, the certificate is valid for one year.
* However, it is possible to extend the validity up to three years from the date of issuance upon request from the applicant, provided that the form of the product has not changed.
