KS Certification Fee

Related laws and regulations
  • Article 37 (Fees), the Industrial Standardization Act
    A party that wishes to get certification according to Item 1 under Article 15 or Item 1 under Article 16 or a party that wishes to get a regular assessment as per Item 1 under Article 19 shall, according to the Decree by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, pay the fees and cost for the assessment to the certification body.
  • Article 23 (Fees, etc.), the Enforcement Rules of the Industrial Standardization Act
    A party that wishes to get certification for a product or service in accordance with Item 1 under Article 15 or Item 1 under Article 16 of the law or a party that wishes to get a regular assessment as per Item 1 under Article 19 shall pay the fee and cost as per Table 14 to the certification body in cash.
KS product certification fee
  • Application fee : Base fee 500,000 won per each category (additional 250,000 won for each additional item, VAT not included)
  • Assessment fee (the compensation for evaluators) : the number of days of the period of assessment x factory assessment fee (270,000 won) x 2 persons
