KTC, the World’s No. 1 Testing Certification Institute Leading the Way to the 4th Industrial Revolution
Korea Testing Certification institute (KTC), led by President Sungil Ahn, has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in Tokyo, Japan, on the 25th. The MoU aims to pioneer and expand export channels for Korean companies in Japan.
Under this agreement, KTC will provide technical consulting on Japanese certification and standards to Korean companies seeking to enter the Japanese market. On the other hand, KOTRA will support the development and expansion of export channels for companies, thereby enhancing the export competitiveness of Korean businesses.
In addition, during the "Korea-Japan Manufacturing Industry Fair" organized by KOTRA on the 24th, KTC presented service plans to assist Korean companies in acquiring Japanese certifications, addressing the difficulties faced by Korean companies in obtaining certifications.
In March, KTC had previously signed agreements with Japanese certification agencies such as JET, COSMOS, and UL Japan to facilitate the rapid acquisition of Japanese PSE certifications in the fields of electric vehicle chargers, wires, and cables using KTC's test reports.
As a leading testing and certification institute in various industries, KTC supports product safety and enhances the technological capabilities of companies. It also contributes to improving the country's export competitiveness by reducing the burden of overseas certification costs through its network with major countries worldwide.
Vice President Jeong Ki-hoon of KTC stated, "Through collaboration between KTC and KOTRA, we will create synergies and actively support Korean companies throughout the entire process, from product development to technical consulting and securing export channels."
