KTC, the World’s No. 1 Testing Certification Institute Leading the Way to the 4th Industrial Revolution

Korea Testing Certification institute (KTC) has announced its participation in "InterBattery 2023," which will be held at COEX in Seoul from March 15th to 17th. The event aims to showcase technical support services in the fields of batteries, renewable energy, and electric vehicle chargers.
*InterBattery 2023: The largest domestic exhibition specializing in the secondary battery industry, offering a platform to explore various new battery products and technologies in one place, ranging from the mobile small-scale market to the energy, automotive, ESS, and EV large-scale markets.
In the battery field, KTC will introduce testing and certification support measures related to the upcoming completion of the Large-scale ESS Fire Testing Center in Samcheok, Gangwon Province in August of this year. Additionally, KTC will present the KC safety inspection system for reusable batteries, which is scheduled to be implemented from October, along with support measures for companies.
In the renewable energy sector, KTC will share testing and certification services for KC certification of power conversion devices for energy storage systems (ESS), eco-friendly modules, smart inverters, and overall solar power.
Furthermore, regarding electric vehicle chargers, KTC will introduce streamlined approaches for safety certification, conformity assessment, and obtaining international certifications for export to Europe, the Americas, and other regions. The organization will also provide information on the latest updates in technical standards and establish a platform to address challenges encountered during certification processes.
