KTC CO-HOSTS THE 'GS Certification Standards Seminar'
Korea Testing Certification institute (hereinafter KTC) announced that it will hold a "GS Certification Standards Seminar" on September 12th at the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA) Education Hall on the 9th floor. The seminar is intended for companies aspiring to obtain GS certification.
GS (Good Software) certification is a national certification system that verifies the quality and security of domestic software products. Products that have obtained this certification are designated as preferred procurement items when public institutions initiate projects.
This seminar is designed to enhance companies' understanding of GS certification. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and jointly hosted by KTC, Telecommunications Technology Association, Korea Testing Laboratory, Convergence of IT Devices Institute Busan, and Korea Testing & Research Institute. This is the first event of its kind. The event will be conducted both online and offline, and pre-registration is required on a first-come, first-served basis for those responsible for or interested in obtaining GS certification.
During the seminar, GS certification authorities will address companies' questions through explanations of GS certification standards and discussions of key defect cases. Additionally, promotional activities by the authorities and consultation tables are expected to help prepare for the year-end rush of certification applications and alleviate backlogs.
KTC serves as an internationally accredited testing and certification organization across various industries. It supports product safety and enhances companies' technical capabilities. Through collaboration with 63 institutions in 36 countries and designation as a testing organization, KTC contributes to reducing the overseas certification costs borne by domestic companies and enhancing the nation's export competitiveness.
