Electrical appliance certification request and other related forms

The application documents to request electrical appliance certification
  • 1. A written request for safety certification
  • 2. A business registration certificate or equivalent
  • 3. Product manual (including a user manual)
  • 4. Electrical circuit diagram
  • 5. Part list
  • 6. A power of attorney (if the application is submitted by an agent)
  • 7. A sample of the safety certification mark
  • 8. Test samples: one (or the required quantities as set forth in the applicable safety standard)
  • 9. Fee (VAT not included)
The quantity of the samples necessary for electrical appliance certification
  • One unit of the products to be tested (one more if the applicant wishes to get the certification for electromagnetic wave conformance)
    ※ You may be requested to submit more samples as per the safety standard.
  • One unit of the electrical appliance to be tested that is used as a part or component of the main product to be certified
  • The test parts of materials (if necessary)
